David Williams (producer)
David L. Williams, sometimes referred to by his initials, DLW, is an American producer and ADR director (and, occasionally, a voice actor) that has been with ADV Films from the beginning when his living room was used as a production facility for their first show, ''Devil Hunter Yohko''. He left ADV in March 2008 and has since worked at Sentai Filmworks and Seraphim Digital. David regularly makes appearances at anime conventions as a representative of ADV. When asked questions about future productions, he often replies with his trademark phrase, "I can neither confirm nor deny". Dubbing
Dubbing (also known as re-recording and mixing) is a post-production process used in filmmaking and the video production process where supplementary recordings (known as doubles) are lip-synced and "mixed" with original production audio to create the final product. Often this process is performed on films by replacing the original language to offer voiced-over translations. After sound editors edit and prepare all the necessary tracks—dialogue, automated dialogue replacement (ADR), effects, Foley (filmmaking), foley, and music—the dubbing mixers proceed to balance all of the elements and record the finished soundtrack. While dubbing and ADR are similar processes that focus on enhancing and replacing dialogue audio, ADR is a process in which the original actors re-record and synchronize audio segments. Dirty Pair
is a series of Japanese light novels (the first one being a fix-up) written by Haruka Takachiho and illustrated by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko that was later adapted into anime and manga versions. The first stories that make up the first volume were first published on the '' S-F Magazine''. The franchise has been published in multiple formats, and adapted into various other media, resulting in eight novels and several shorter stories, a television series, two OVA series, two OVA features, a feature film, a number of graphic novels, and two short Japanese radio series. Ushio & Tora
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kazuhiro Fujita. It was serialized in Shogakukan's manga magazine ''Weekly Shōnen Sunday'' from January 1990 to October 1996, with its chapters collected in 33 volumes.
