David W. Cloud
David W. Cloud (born 1949) is an American Independent Baptist missionary, pastor, publisher, and writer. He is also the founder and director of Way of Life Literature and the editor of the magazine ''O Timothy''. Personal life David Cloud was born in 1949 and grew up in a Christian home in Florida. However, he turned away from Christianity during his teenage years, becoming a heavy drinker and served in the Vietnam war from 1969 to 1970. In 1973, he became a born-again Christian and attended Tennessee Temple University. Career David Cloud graduated from Tennessee Temple Bible School in 1977, where he started his ministry, and eventually became involved with missionary work in Nepal. Cloud has criticized Baptist churches abandoning their denominational label in favor of being nondenominational. He is a strong advocate of separationism and teaches secondary separation. The Sinner's prayer (also called the Consecration prayer and Salvation prayer) is a Christian term referring to any prayer of repentance, prayed by individuals who feel sin in their lives and have the desire to form or renew a personal relationship. Peter Ruckman
Peter Sturges Ruckman (November 19, 1921 – April 21, 2016) was an American Independent Baptist pastor, author, Bible teacher, and founder of the Pensacola Bible Institute in Pensacola, Florida (not to be confused with the Pensacola Christian College). Ruckman was known for his position that the King James Version of the Bible constituted "advanced revelation" or "new revelation", and was the final preserved word of God in the English language. Personal life A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Ruckman was a son of Colonel John Hamilton Ruckman (1888–1966) and a grandson of General John Wilson Ruckman (1858–1921).
