David Silverman (animator)
David Silverman (born March 15, 1957) is an American animator who has animation director, directed numerous episodes of the animated television series ''The Simpsons'', as well as its The Simpsons Movie, 2007 film adaptation. Silverman was involved with the series from the very beginning, animating all of the original The Simpsons shorts, short ''Simpsons'' cartoons that aired on ''The Tracey Ullman Show''. He went on to serve as director of animation for several years. He also did the animation for the 2016 film ''The Edge of Seventeen'', which was produced by Gracie Films. Early life and career Silverman was born to a American Jews, Jewish family on Long Island, New York. His father, Joseph Silverman, was a chemical engineering professor at the University of Maryland, College Park, for over 30 years. ''To Tell the Truth'' is an American television panel show. Four celebrity panelists are presented with three contestants (the "team of challengers", each an individual or pair) and must identify which is the "central character" whose unusual occupation or experience has been read aloud by the show's host. When the panelists question the contestants, the two impostors may lie whereas the "central character" must tell the truth. The setup adds the impostor element to the format of '' What's My Line?'' and '' I've Got a Secret''. The show was created by Bob Stewart and originally produced by Mark Goodson–Bill Todman Productions. It first aired on CBS from 1956 to 1968 with Bud Collyer as host. Lee Unkrich
Lee Edward Unkrich (born August 8, 1967) is an American film director, editor and writer. He is best known for his work with animation studio Pixar, which he joined in 1994 as an editor before being credited as a co-director on ''Toy Story 2'' (1999). Following the film's success, Unkrich served a similar role for the films '' Monsters, Inc.'' (2001) and '' Finding Nemo'' (2003) before making his solo directorial debut with ''Toy Story 3'' (2010). The film, along with the second of which he directed, '' Coco'' (2017), both won two Academy Awards: Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song. After his 25-year tenure at the company, Unkrich retired in January 2019 to spend more time with his family and pursue other interests. Will Finn is an American animator, voice actor, storyboard artist, and director. The Road To El Dorado
''The Road to El Dorado'' is a 2000 American animated musical adventure comedy film directed by Eric "Bibo" Bergeron and Don Paul, from a screenplay by Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, as well as additional sequences directed by Will Finn and David Silverman. Starring the voices of Kevin Kline, Kenneth Branagh, Rosie Perez, Armand Assante, Edward James Olmos, and Jim Cummings, the film follows two con artists who, after winning the map to El Dorado in Spain, wash ashore in the New World. An audio commentary is an additional audio track, usually digital, consisting of a lecture or comments by one or more speakers, that plays in real time with a video. Commentaries can be serious or entertaining in nature, and can add information which otherwise would not be disclosed to audience members. History The Criterion Collection introduced audio commentary on the LaserDisc format, which was able to accommodate multiple audio tracks. The first commentary track, for the 1933 film '' King Kong'', was recorded by Ronald Haver, a curator at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and was inspired by the stories Haver told while supervising the film-to-video transfer process. Criterion expected that the commentary would only be of interest to serious film students.
