David Roth (March 13, 1952 – January 13, 2021) was an American magician widely regarded as one of the world's greatest coin magicians. Roth was an important contributor to Richard Kaufman's ''Coinmagic'', an influential text on contemporary coin technique; his major work was chronicled in ''David Roth's Expert Coin Magic'', a book written by Richard Kaufman. David Lee Roth (born October 10, 1954) is an American rock singer. Known for his wild and energetic stage persona, he was the lead vocalist of the hard rock band Van Halen for three stints: from 1974 to 1985, during 1996, and from 2006 to when they disbanded in 2020. He has also had a successful solo career, releasing numerous Recording Industry Association of America, RIAA-certified Gold and Platinum albums. After more than two decades apart, Roth re-joined Van Halen in 2006 for Van Halen 2007–2008 North American Tour, a North American tour that became the highest-grossing in the band's history, and one of the highest-grossing of that year. Elizabeth "Lisa" Ann Roberts (née Elder; November 3, 1959 – August 9, 1977), otherwise known as Precious Jane Doe, was an American homicide victim found near Everett, Washington on August 14, 1977, who was an unidentified decedent for 43 years until being identified on June 16, 2020. She had been picked up by a male driver while hitchhiking and killed after refusing sex. Her assailant had strangled her with a cord and then emptied his gun into her head, complicating identification. Roberts was a teen runaway who left her Oregon home in July 1977, less than a month before her murder. David Roth (May 9, 1959 – July 19, 2015) was an American opera director and stage director. He was the General Director of the Kentucky Opera from 2006 to 2015. Life and career Born in Beloit, Wisconsin, Roth grew up in western Wisconsin on a 600-acre farm. Roth went to grade school in Westby and Viroqua, Wisconsin, and then graduated from Viroqua High School in 1977. He earned degrees in Business Administration and Vocal Performance from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. He began his career working for the Minnesota Opera. He worked as a director's assistant for John Copley, Colin Graham, and Francesca Zambello. David Roth (born December 4, 1985, St. Louis, Missouri), is an American former soccer midfielder. Former Chicago Rainmaker Forward Career Roth played college soccer for Northwestern University from 2004 to 2007. During his career there he played 83 games and scored 19 goals and 32 assists. Roth was a Big 10 First Team member in 2006 and 2007 and a NSCAA All-American Second Team member in 2007. Roth was also a NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region First Team member in 2006 and 2007 and in 2007 named All-America by the NSCAA - the first Northwestern Soccer player in history. David Wells Roth is an American figurative painter. After his studies at Boston University, he moved to New York City to paint urban life and views of the city, then moved to Paris to paint at the invitation of a French family as barter for his paintings from 1982 through 1991 and continued to live in France through 1997. In 2007, Roth was awarded a three-year judicial portrait commission to paint portraits of all thirty-three Judges of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, past and present. The project came about in 2006 after Chief Judge Hon. José A. Fusté of the Federal Court of Puerto Rico saw the portrait he painted of his colleague, Boston Federal Judge Hon. Richard G.
