David Parker (born 30 July 1956) is an English chemist, Chair Professor at Hong Kong Baptist University, and Emeritus Professor at the University of Durham. Early life and education David Parker was born in Leadgate, County Durham. He won ten caps for Wales and was selected to play in the 1930 British Lions tour of New Zealand and Australia. Camp Grohn was a military base of the U.S. Army on the outskirts of Bremen, Germany after the end of World War II from 1945 to 1954. Camp Grohn was originally built in 1936 as ''Flak Kaserne'' and housed the first battalion of the Luftwaffe's 26th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment prior to the outbreak of World War II.
