David Odikadze
David Odikadze (born 14 April 1981) is a retired Georgian football player who played as a right-sided defender and right midfielder. Odikadze is the two-time winner of Umaglesi Liga with Dinamo Tbilisi. He has also secured the Azerbaijan Premier League, Georgian Cup and Georgian Super Cup titles. Career Odikadze started his career at STU in 1996. He spent most years at Dinamo Tbilisi and Chikhura whom he captained. Odikadze announced his retirement in April 2021 at age 39. Overall, during his 25 year-long career Odikadze took part in 472 matches in Georgian football leagues, scoring 76 goals. International Odikadze made his debut for Georgia in a friendly 1–0 win over Lithuania on 9 February 2005. After making three more appearance the same year, he was not called up until May 2008. FC Shevardeni-1906 Tbilisi was a Georgian football club based in Tbilisi. They most recently played in the Liga 3, the third tier of Georgian football from 2023. They were one of the oldest Georgian association football clubs. History Shevardeni were founded in 1906 after a Czech public figure named Jaroslav Svatoš invited several athletics coaches to Georgia at the end of the 19th century and formed a sports society called ''Sokol'' (Czech word for Falcon that was later translated to Georgian Shevardeni). The club played its first match on October 23, 1911, against the united team of different sports societies and won the game 1–0. The Georgian Super Cup is a super cup tournament in Georgian football. Founded in 1996 as a two-team competition, the current version has been contested since 2023 by four teams, those being the first, second, and third placed teams in the Erovnuli Liga, as well as the winners of the Georgian Cup. Formerly, the tournament used to be a single football match solely played between the champions of the Erovnuli Liga and the winners of the Georgian Cup. The Georgian Cup ( ka, საქართველოს თასი) is the main annual association football knockout cup competition in Georgia. It is organized by the Georgian Football Federation (GFF) and is open to clubs of all divisions. FC Dinamo Tbilisi ( ka, დინამო თბილისი, ) is a Georgian professional football club based in Tbilisi that competes in the Erovnuli Liga, the top flight of Georgian football. Dinamo Tbilisi was one of the most prominent clubs in Soviet football and a major contender in the Soviet Top League almost immediately after it was established in 1936. The club was then part of one of the leading sport societies in the Soviet Union, the All-Union Dynamo sports society which had several other divisions besides football and was sponsored by the Soviet Ministry of Internal Affairs.
