David Novarro
David Novarro (born October 1, 1959) is an American television news journalist for WABC-TV in New York City. He is the co-anchor of ''Eyewitness News'' @Noon with Shirleen Allicot and the 4 pm newscast with Liz Cho. He is featured on a segment called The Trend on the 4pm newscast. Novarro returned to WABC-TV in December 2010, he was previously the anchor of ''Good Day Chicago'' at WFLD-TV in Chicago. Novarro anchored the "Ten" newscast at Fox Chicago from 2007 to 2009. He was selected to spearhead the station's expansion into the 10:00 PM time slot after anchoring "Fox News in the Morning" He was voted "Best Newscaster" in a Chicago Kiss FM radio poll. Liz Cho is a news anchor at WABC-TV in New York City. She has co-anchored the weekday 4 and 6 p.m. editions of ''Eyewitness News''. Early life and education Cho grew up in Concord, Massachusetts, and has a younger brother, Andrew. She was born to Sang In Cho (d. March 13, 2009), a Korean American surgeon, and a Jewish-American nurse, Donna Cho (née Weltman). ''Cropsey'' is a 2009 American documentary film written and directed by Joshua Zeman and Barbara Brancaccio. The film initially begins as an examination of "Cropsey", a boogeyman-like figure from New York City urban legend, before segueing into the story of Andre Rand, a convicted child kidnapper from Staten Island whose known or suspected crimes in the 1970s and '80s may have inspired or been blamed on Cropsey. Puerto Ricans have both immigrated and migrated to New York City. The first group of Puerto Ricans immigrated to New York City in the mid-19th century when Puerto Rico was a Spanish colony and its people Spanish subjects.
