David Millage
David A. Millage (born February 26, 1953) is an American politician in the state of Iowa. Millage was born in Portland, Oregon and attended the University of Iowa. A Republican, he served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1991 to 2003 (41st district from 1993 to 2003, 40th district from 1991 to 1993). Brenna Bird (née Findley) is an American lawyer and politician from Iowa. A member of the Republican Party, she is the incumbant Iowa Attorney General. Bird grew up on a farm near Dexter, Iowa. She earned her bachelor's degree from Drake University and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 2001. She served as counsel to Governor Terry Branstad and became county attorney for Guthrie County, Iowa in 2018. In 2019, a jury ruled that Branstad and Bird had discriminated against an employee because of his sexual orientation, and awarded him $1.5 million. Bird ran for Attorney General of Iowa in the 2010 elections and lost to incumbent Tom Miller by 11 percent. Bettendorf is a city in Scott County, Iowa, United States. It is the 15th largest city of Iowa and the third-largest city in the " Quad Cities". It is part of the Davenport– Moline– Rock Island, IA- IL Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 39,102 at the 2020 U.S. Census.
