David McAlister
David McAlister (2 April 1951 – 25 June 2015) was an English actor on television, in musicals, on stage and in film, known for his voice-over work. Personal life McAlister was born on 2 April 1951 in Worthing, Sussex and died on 25 June 2015 of cancer. He was married with two children (a girl and a boy) living with his family in Surrey. Career McAlister was best known for his portrayal of Daddy Warbucks in the stage production of the American musical '' Annie''. It was in 2006 that he first got the part of Daddy Warbucks in ''Annie The Musical''. He returned to the part in 2009 for its UK Tour, and then again between 2010–2011, and in 2012 went with it to Hong Kong and Singapore. He died in 2015. Worthing () is a seaside town in West Sussex, England, at the foot of the South Downs, west of Brighton, and east of Chichester. ''Top Buzzer'' is a British sitcom written by Johnny Vaughan and Ed Allen, styled as television's first ever "dope opera". It was shown on MTV in 2004 and later repeated on Five. ''Wings'' is a drama series about the Royal Flying Corps that ran on BBC television from 1977 to 1978. It stars Tim Woodward as Alan Farmer, a young blacksmith turned fighter pilot in the First World War. Nicholas Jones played his teacher and mentor, Captain Triggers and Michael Cochrane played his upper-class friend, Charles Gaylion, who began a relationship with Farmer's girlfriend while Farmer was believed dead, shot down over France. The series reveals that the British pilots are struggling with aeroplanes which are unreliable and inferior to the German machines and with an Establishment that classes voicing an opinion to that effect as being tantamount to cowardice. The airmen must also face the resentment of British soldiers who see them having an "easy" life. ''Peak Practice'' is a British drama series about a GP surgery in Cardale—a small fictional town in the Derbyshire Peak District—and the doctors who worked there.
