David Mainse
David Mainse (August 13, 1936 – September 25, 2017) was a Canadian televangelist, broadcast executive and producer, and an evangelical Christian leader. He was the founder of Crossroads Christian Communications and host of the long-running Christian talk show ''100 Huntley Street''. Early life Mainse was born on August 13, 1936 in Campbell's Bay, Quebec. He was raised in a rural area near Ottawa, Ontario, then continued his education at Sudbury Secondary in Sudbury. Mainse was highly influenced by his father, Roy Lake Mainse (1896–1972), who worked as a missionary in Egypt, and then as a Holiness Movement Church pastor in Ontario and Quebec. Mainse determined to go into ministry while still a teenager. He studied theology at Eastern Pentecostal Bible College (now Master's College and Seminary) in Peterborough, Ontario and was ordained. Campbell's Bay, Quebec
Campbell's Bay is a municipality in Pontiac Regional County Municipality in western Quebec, Canada. Its population in 2021 was 705. It is the county seat and is home to most government offices for the county, including the Sûreté du Québec, and has French and English elementary schools. Campbell's Bay is in the heart of the Pontiac, as it is situated between Shawville and Fort-Coulonge. Kenneth Livingstone Campbell (January 15, 1934 – August 28, 2006) was a Canadian fundamentalist Baptist evangelist and political figure. He was the final leader of the Social Credit Party of Canada from 1990 to 1993. William Franklin Graham Jr. (November 7, 1918 – February 21, 2018) was an American evangelist and an ordained Southern Baptist minister who became well known internationally in the late 1940s. A summer camp or sleepaway camp is a supervised program for children conducted during the summer summer vacation, months in some countries. Pembroke, Ontario
Pembroke is a city in the Canadian province of Ontario at the confluence of the Muskrat River and the Ottawa River in the Ottawa Valley.
