David Maddocks
David 'Dai' Maddocks (born 20 January 1983, in Haverfordwest) is a Welsh Under 21 international rugby union player. A prop forward, he made 26 appearances for the Welsh regional team Newport Gwent Dragons and also represented the Scarlets. He previously played for Llanelli RFC, Bedwas RFC, Coventry RFC and Newport RFC. Haverfordwest (, ; cy, Hwlffordd ) is the county town of Pembrokeshire, Wales, and the most populous urban area in Pembrokeshire with a population of 14,596 in 2011. Llanelli ("St Elli's llan (placename element), Parish"; ) is a market town and the largest community in Carmarthenshire and the Preserved counties of Wales, preserved county of Dyfed, Wales. Jersey Reds is a rugby club based in Jersey, Channel Islands that currently competes at the RFU Championship, which is the second tier of English professional rugby. Until season 2022/23, the professional arm of Jersey Reds was part of Jersey RFC, a members' club established in 1879 which also had an amateur men's side, Jersey Reds Athletic, who play in the National Leagues (tier 7); Jersey Reds Women, who play in the Women's National Championship South 2 league; and a thriving Mini section with over 500 boys and girls participating. For the first season of the national leagues in England in 1987–88, Jersey were in London Three South-West (level 7), and didn't play any higher until promotion in 2005. Newport Rugby Football Club ( cy, Clwb Rygbi Casnewydd) is a Welsh rugby union club based in the city of Newport, South Wales. They presently play in the Welsh Premier Division. Until 2021 Newport RFC were based at Rodney Parade situated on the east bank of the River Usk. Coventry Rugby Football Club is a professional rugby union club based in Coventry, England. The club enjoyed great success during the 1960s and 70s, with many players representing their countries.
