David Joseph (executive)
David Joseph is a senior executive who has been involved in the UK music industry for over 20 years. He holds a number of charitable non-executive positions, including Chair of the Grenfell Foundation. Between 2008-2024 he was Chairman & CEO of Universal Music UK, and a member of Arts Council England's National Council from 2013-2021. Bastille are an English indie pop band formed in 2010. The group began as a solo project by lead vocalist Dan Smith (singer), Dan Smith, but later expanded to include keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist and guitarist Will Farquarson and drummer Chris "Woody" Wood.
