David Joseph (executive)
David Joseph is a senior executive who has been involved in the UK music industry for over 20 years. He holds a number of charitable non-executive positions, including Chair of the Grenfell Foundation. Between 2008-2024 he was Chairman & CEO of Universal Music UK, and a member of Arts Council England's National Council from 2013-2021. Bastille (band)
Bastille are an English indie pop band formed in 2010. The group began as a solo project by lead vocalist Dan Smith (singer), Dan Smith, but later expanded to include keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist and guitarist Will Farquarson and drummer Chris "Woody" Wood. After an independently released debut single and a self-released EP, the band signed to Virgin Records.
