Edwin Raymond Corley (born 2 October 1931 in Bayonne, New Jersey – died 7 November 1981 in Gulfport, Mississippi) was a United States novelist most famous for his thrillers ''Sargasso'', ''Air Force One'', and ''The Jesus Factor''. He used the pseudonyms "David Harper", "William Judson", and "Will Collins" and worked with novelist Jack Murphy, using the pseudonym "Patrick Buchanan" (unrelated to Patrick Buchanan, the politician of the same name). David George Charles Harper is the senior lecturer in Evolutionary Biology in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Sussex, England. He specifically lectures Animal Diversity, Darwinian Evolution, Cooperation & Conflict in Animal Societies, Conservation in Practice and Applied systematics. Harper was born in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. He earned his doctorate at the University of Cambridge and was a Junior Research Fellow at St John's College, Oxford. David A.T. Harper is a British palaeontologist, specialising in fossil brachiopods and numerical methods in palaeontology. He is Professor of Palaeontology in Earth Sciences at Durham University. In December 2014 he began his term as President of the Palaeontological Association. Bibliography Harper was previously Professor of Palaeontology and Head of Geology in the Natural History Museum of Denmark, University of Copenhagen. He has published over 10 books and monographs, and also over 250 scientific articles. He is co-writer, with Øyvind Hammer, of the software package PAST. David Douglas Harper (May 5, 1966- October 20, 2021), nicknamed "Harpdog", was a former American football linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys. He also was a member of the Sacramento Gold Miners, San Antonio Texans and Ottawa Rough Riders in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Humboldt State University. Early years Harper attended Eureka High School where he played as a running back. He moved on to the College of the Redwoods, where he was named to the All-Golden Valley Conference team in 1986.
