David Allen Thomas Jr. (born July 15, 1955) is an American voice actor and painter. He is also known as Dave Thomas. He is known for the voice of The Sorrow in '' Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater''/'' Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence'' and Echo in '' Red Faction 2''. He started his career in 1981 as a soldier in a TV version of ''Othello''. General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross is a fictional character who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics featuring the Hulk. Ross is a United States Armed Forces, United States military Officer (armed forces)#United States, officer, the father of Betty Ross, and the ex-father-in-law of both Glenn Talbot and Hulk, Bruce Banner. A jingoistic war hawk, Ross is portrayed as the military head of the gamma bomb project that turned Banner into the Hulk. After the creation of the Hulk, Ross pursues the creature with a growing obsession, and, after learning that Banner and the Hulk are one and the same, Ross hunts Banner as well.
