David Smith (born April 20, 1983) is an American comedian, podcaster, and political commentator who hosts the libertarian podcast ''Part of the Problem.'' Smith is a close friend of Joe Rogan and a regular guest on ''The Joe Rogan Experience''. He has also frequently appeared on Fox News' ''Kennedy'', ''The Greg Gutfeld Show,'' and CNN's '' S.E. Cupp: Unfiltered'', and has also appeared on the Lex Fridman podcast, among others. Smith is a member of the Mises Caucus of the Libertarian Party. Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is a Libertarianism in the United States, libertarian student activism organization headquartered in Austin, Texas. The 2024 Libertarian Party presidential primaries and caucuses were a series of current electoral contests to indicate non-binding preferences for the Libertarian Party (LP) presidential nominee in the 2024 United States presidential election. These differed from the Republican or Democratic presidential primaries and caucuses in that they do not appoint delegates to represent a candidate at the party's convention to select the party's presidential nominee. The Porcupine Freedom Festival, commonly known as PorcFest, is an event held annually every June since 2004 in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. The festival is the main event held by the Free State Project, a libertarian organization that advocates for the relocation of libertarians to New Hampshire in order to make the state a stronghold for their movement. The festival has been described as "the libertarian version of Burning Man" and "the largest gathering of libertarians in the world". The festival on average hosts approximately 1,500 attendees.
