Dave Johnson is a comic book artist known for his cover work. For Image Comics he has worked on titles including Erik Larsen's '' SuperPatriot'' and Robert Kirkman's '' Invincible''. For DC Comics he has provided covers to titles such as ''Detective Comics'' and the DC/Vertigo book ''100 Bullets'', for which he won the 2002 Eisner Award for Best Cover Artist. His Marvel Comics work includes covers for ''Deadpool''. He has also done some writing, as on '' Batman: Black and White'' #6 and '' Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight'' #194. The New York Comic Con is an annual New York City fan convention dedicated to Western comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, cosplay, toys, movies, and television. John Byrne (comics)
John Lindley Byrne (; born July 6, 1950) is a British-born American writer and artist of superhero comics. Since the mid-1970s, Byrne has worked on many major superheroes; with noted work on Marvel Comics' '' X-Men'', '' She-Hulk'' and '' Fantastic Four''. Byrne also facilitated the 1986 relaunch of DC Comics' '' Superman'' franchise, the first issue of which featured comics' first variant cover. Coming into the comics profession as penciller, inker, letterer and writer on his earliest work, Byrne began co-plotting the ''X-Men'' comics during his tenure on them, and launched his writing career in earnest with ''Fantastic Four'' (where he also served as penciler and inker). Scott Dunbier is an American comic book editor, best known as the Special Projects Editor at IDW Publishing. Career Dunbier rose to prominence in the comic book industry as executive editor of the Wildstorm comic book line. After several years as a dealer in original comic book artwork during the 1980s and 1990s, Dunbier began with Wildstorm in 1995 as Special Projects Editor. Two years later, he was named Editor-in-Chief, a title which was changed to Group Editor when Wildstorm became a part of DC Comics.
