Paul Caffrey
Paul Caffrey is a former Gaelic footballer who played for the Na Fianna club and for the Dublin county team. He is also a former manager of his county team and is a Dublin-based Garda. Background Caffrey grew up on Dorset Street on the Northside of Dublin, where his parents ran a greengrocers' shop. His football career began in St. Vincent's C.B.S. school in Glasnevin and nearby club Na Fianna. Caffrey represented his county at minor and senior level, and is a brother of John Caffrey, who won a senior All-Ireland medal in 1983. Caffrey is a member of the Garda Síochána and is stationed at Store Street Garda Station, Dublin. Brian Talty
Brian Talty (born 12 May 1955) is a former Gaelic footballer who played at senior level for the Galway county team. Talty was born in Tuam, County Galway, where he played Gaelic football with Tuam Stars. While training as a PE teacher at Thomond College in Limerick, he won an All-Ireland Club Football Championship as a star midfielder in a team that featured the Spillane brothers, Mick and Pat. With Galway Talty won a National Football League medal in 1981. He played for Galway against Dublin in the 1983 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final, although injury forced his substitution in the second half of that game. Dublin won the final, despite finishing with twelve players. Galway finished with fourteen players. Talty won two Dublin Senior Football Championship with Parnells in 1987 and 1988. Paul Clarke (Irish Footballer)
Paul Clarke (born 1966 in County Dublin, Ireland) is a former Gaelic footballer who played for the Whitehall Colmcille club and was a senior member of the Dublin county team for a number of years, starting in 1985. He won his only All-Ireland medal in 1995, the same year in which he won his only All Star award. Married in 2015 to Emer Mullaney and first child born Ben Stephen Clarke in June 2016. Biography Having played soccer as a child up to Under-14 level, Clarke began playing Gaelic football while at school at St. Aidan's CBS, in Dublin. He went on to join Whitehall Colmcille's, his local club, and was quickly noticed and selected for the inter-county Under 14 side, with whom he went on to win an under-14 leinster title. Tommy Lyons
Tommy Lyons is an Irish former Gaelic football manager and player from County Mayo who managed two inter-county teams. He was also a regular panellist/analyst on RTÉ's ''The Sunday Game''. Although born in County Mayo, Lyons considers himself a Dubliner, having moved to Dublin at a very young age. Career Club Lyons's playing career with Dublin GAA club Kilmacud Crokes ended early due to a persistent knee injury. A screw had to be placed within the knee at one point, which hindered his running ability. Lyons managed Kilmacud Crokes to an All-Ireland Club SFC on Saint Patrick's Day, 1995. UCD GAA or University College Dublin Gaelic Athletic Association club is a Dublin based Gaelic games club in University College Dublin. The UCD hurling club was founded in 1900 and boasted the mottos "Ad Astra" and "Cothrom Féinne". The first team was an amalgamation of students from UCD and Cecilia St. Although UCD had been playing Gaelic football unofficially since 1900, the official club history began in the season of 1911/1912.
