Daud (film)
''Daud'' (; ) is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language Road movie, road adventure comedy film written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma, starring Sanjay Dutt and Urmila Matondkar, with music composed by A. R. Rahman. The film was based on Ram Gopal Varma's 1991 Telugu film ''Kshana Kshanam'', which starred Venkatesh (actor), Venkatesh, Sridevi and Paresh Rawal. ''Daud'' was not commercially successful. Plot The affable Nandu is a small-time crook who is hired to deliver a mysterious package to a notorious criminal named Pinky. Feeling that he is being cheated out of his delivery fee, Nandu holds out for more money, and soon finds himself on the run from both the angry gangsters and the police, who have launched a massive manhunt. Nandu and Bhavani, the lovely cabaret dancer who's tagging along for the ride, assume the package contains gold; both are unpleasantly surprised when it turns out to be something deadlier: a nuclear bomb. Narsing Yadav
Narsing Yadav (15 May 1963 – 31 December 2020) was an Indian actor known for his comic villain roles. He acted in more than 300 films predominantly in Telugu, in addition to Tamil, Hindi and Kannada languages. He debuted as a small character artist and was primarily cast as a villain and comedy actor. He died on 31 December 2020 from kidney-related ailments. Mehboob (lyricist)
Mehboob (credited as Mehboob Kotwal or simply Mehboob; born 1961) is an Indian film lyricist. He was born and brought up in Mumbai city of Maharashtra, where he also received his primary education, first in English and later in Urdu. Career In 1986, Mehboob met music composer Ismail Darbar who played violin in film orchestras those days. It was Darbar who taught him the difference between poetry and film lyrics. Darbar introduced Mehboob to filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma and he began his songwriting career with Varma's 1992 film Drohi whose music was composed by R.D. Burman. He then worked with A.R. Rahman on Varma's Rangeela. Rahman liked his work and introduced him to Mani Ratnam and Mehboob penned the lyrics for the Hindi (dubbed) version of Bombay. Mehboob went on to work with A.R.
