Darya Sorokina
Darya Sorokina (born 29 November 2002) is an Azerbaijani individual and group rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 World 3 Ribbons + 2 Balls bronze medalist. She is the 2020 European group all-around silver medalist and the 2022 European group all-around bronze medalist. She represented Azerbaijan at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Career Junior In 2015, Sorokina joined Azerbaijani junior group which competed at the 2015 Junior European Championships in Minsk, Belarus and placed fourth in both the group all-around and 5 Balls finals. Then at the 2017 Junior European Championships in Budapest, Hungary, and finished in ninth place in the group all-around and were the first reserve for the 10 Clubs final. The Azerbaijani team of the junior group, Marina Durunda, and Zhala Piriyeva finished seventh. Senior Sorokina became age-eligible for senior competition in 2018. Zhala Piriyeva (; born 10 May 2000) is an Azerbaijani people, Azerbaijani individual Rhythmic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2016 Azeri National champion and three-time (2013–2015) junior Azerbaijani national champion. Career Junior Piriyeva began gymnastics at 4 years old. She began appearing in international competitions in the 2012 season winning gold in all-around at an International tournament in Hungary. In 2013, Piriyeva won 3 gold medals in Valentine Cup in Estonia in hoop, ball and clubs. Marina Durunda
Marina Sergeyevna Durunda (born 12 June 1997) (;) is a retired Ukraine, Ukrainian-born Azerbaijani individual Rhythmic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnast. Durunda started her senior career in 2013, and soon became the leader of the Azerbaijani gymnastics and a three-time (2013-2015) national champion. She won a bronze medal at the 2015 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships, 2015 European Championship in Minsk, and a silver medal at the inaugural 2015 European Games in Baku. Marina represented Azerbaijan at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, and finished 9th in the all-around final.
