Darshan Gurung
Darshan Gurung (born 20 August 2002) is a Nepalese former professional footballer who last played as a midfielder for New Road Team (NRT) and the Nepal national team. In July 2022, Gurung decided to leave professional football and move to Australia. He made his international debut against Bangladesh on 13 November 2020 in Dhaka. Early life Darshan Gurung was born & raised in Ilam, Nepal. Club career In 2019, Gurung made his professional debut from Bhagwati Youth Club in 2019 Martyr's Memorial B-Division League(2nd tier league of Nepal), where he scored nine goals and became top goal scorer of the league. In the same year, Martyr's Memorial A-Division League team NRT signed him as free agent. Gurung scored three goals and won Emerging Player award in the league. Ilam District
Ilam district ( ne, इलाम जिल्ला) is one of 14 districts of Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. It is a Hill district and covers . The 2011 census counted 290,254 population. The municipality of Ilam is the district headquarters and is about from Kathmandu. The 2018 AFC U-16 Championship qualification was an international men's under-16 football competition which decides the participating teams of the 2018 AFC U-16 Championship. A total of 16 teams qualified to play in the final tournament, including Malaysia who qualified automatically as hosts. Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium
Jaber al-Ahmad International Stadium ( ar, ملعب جابر الأحمد الدولي) is a multi-purpose stadium in the Ardhiyah area of Kuwait City, Kuwait. Completed in 2009, it is used mostly for football matches and athletics. The stadium has a capacity of 60,000 seated spectators, the building is constructed in 4 levels, with 54 corporate boxes and parking lot with a 6,000 car capacity. It was expected to open in second quarter of 2010, but the building failed structural-integrity testing and remained closed due to a miscalculation by structural engineers for nearly half a decade.
