Darryl Sage
Darryl Sage (born May 8, 1965) is an American former professional stock car racing driver who has previously competed in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, the NASCAR Busch Series, and the ARCA Re/Max Series. Sage made his debut in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway at the age of seventeen, where he started 25th and finished twenty laps down in sixteenth. He then made seven more starts between 1982 and 1983. He also made select starts in the NASCAR Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series around this time, getting a best finish of sixteenth at Daytona International Speedway. Sage also made six starts in the ARCA Re/Max Series in 1983, where he got a best finish of twelve at Nashville in the former year, and getting two top-tens in 2003 while driving for Keith Murt. NASCAR Winston Cup Series
The NASCAR Cup Series is the top racing series of the NASCAR, National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), the most prestigious stock car racing series in the United States. The series began in 1949 as the Strictly Stock Division, and from 1950 to 1970 it was known as the Grand National Division. In 1971, when the series began leasing its naming rights to the R. J.
