Darrin Chiaverini
Darrin Earl Chiaverini (born October 12, 1977) is an American football assistant coach and former wide receiver. He played college football at Colorado. He was drafted in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 1999 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. During his career, he also played for the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He was formerly the special teams coordinator and outside wide receivers coach for Texas Tech prior to joining the Colorado coaching staff. Early years Chiaverini attended Corona High School. As a sophomore, he made 20 receptions for 340 yards and 2 touchdowns, receiving All-league honors. Baseball is a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams of nine players each, taking turns batting and fielding. Free Safety
Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The defensive responsibilities of the safety and cornerback usually involve pass coverage towards the middle and sidelines of the field. Special Teams
In American football, the specific role that a player takes on the field is referred to as their "position". Under the modern rules of American football, both teams are allowed 11 players on the field at one time and have "unlimited free substitutions", meaning that they may change any number of players during any "dead ball" situation.
