Darren Wilson (musician)
Darren Wilson is drummer of the Chicago-based indie-rock group The Hush Sound. He plays alongside bandmates, Wilson was a member of the band Until Sundown along with Chris Faller, until they were both recruited to play join The Hush Sound in late 2004/early 2005. In late-July through mid-August 2009, Wilson played drums with Mark Rose (formerly of Spitalfield Spitalfield was an American rock band from Chicago, Illinois signed to Victory Records. Fueled by Ramen LLC is an American record label owned by Warner Music Group and distributed by 300 Elektra Entertainment. The label, founded in Gainesville, Florida in 1996, is now based in New York City. History John Janick conceived of the label while attending high school, but it was not until he enrolled at the University of Florida in Gainesville and teamed up with Less Than Jake drummer-lyricist Vinnie Fiorello that Fueled By Ramen became a reality. The name of the label was inspired by only being able to afford a diet of inexpensive instant ramen at the time, due to having invested most of their money into making records. Ramen's first major success came in 1998 with the self-titled EP from Jimmy Eat World, which enabled the label to buy its first office space in Tampa. DCD2 Records, formerly known as Decaydance Records, is an independent record label owned by Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy and partners, based in New York City. The Hush Sound
The Hush Sound is an American indie pop band from Chicago, Illinois, United States. Initially named "The Hush," the band later changed its name to "The Hush Sound" due to the discovery of a rapper with the same name. The band consists of Bob Morris (vocals and guitar), Chris Faller (bass guitar and vocals), Darren Wilson (drums, percussion and vocals), and Greta Salpeter (vocals and piano). Mike Leblanc (bass guitar) temporarily replaced Faller after he left the band for a few months in 2008 . In 2005, the band released their first studio album, '' So Sudden,'' independently, which was later rereleased through Decaydance Records and Fueled by Ramen. Chris Faller (born 1 May 1985 in Buffalo, NY) is the bassist of The Hush Sound and Company of Thieves. Faller provides vocals as well, along with bandmates Greta Salpeter Greta Morgan Salpeter (born February 12, 1988), better known as Greta Morgan, is an American singer-songwriter and musician based in Los Angeles, CA. Her career began in 2005 as singer/pianist of the Chicago-based band The Hush Sound. She later ..., Robert Morris, and Darren Wilson. Faller joined the band last after much persuasion from drummer Darren Wilson, and since then The Hush Sound has been signed by Fueled By Ramen. Spitalfield was an American rock band from Chicago, Illinois signed to Victory Records. Formed in 1998, Spitalfield caught the attention of Victory Records with their 2002 release ''The Cloak And Dagger Club EP'' and a year later released their follow-up, '' Remember Right Now''. The band sold over 130,000 records and performed in nine countries over three continents before disbanding at the end of 2007. Spitalfield derived their band name from Spitalfields, a section of London's East End where Jack the Ripper operated.
