Darren Wates
Darren Jude Wates (born 2 July 1977) is a former Australian cricketer who played first-class and limited overs cricket for Western Australia. Wates attended Aquinas College, Perth and the University of Western Australia. He started his career in the 1999–2000 season, in which he won the best new talent award on the way to the Western Warriors winning the Mercantile Mutual Cup Final. In 2004, he gave away his career as a lawyer to become a full-time cricketer, but injuries have restricted his last few seasons, with persistent hamstring problems. In the 2004 ING Cup Final, Wates starred with Kade Harvey to add 75 for the seventh wicket to guide the Western Warriors to their first title since 1999–2000. Subiaco (known colloquially as Subi) is an inner- western suburb of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. Western Australia Cricket Team
The Western Australian Men’s cricket team, formerly nicknamed the Western Warriors, represent the Australian state of Western Australia in Australian domestic cricket. The team is selected and supported by the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA), and plays its home games at the WACA Ground and Perth Stadium in Perth. The team mainly plays matches against other Australian states in the first-class Sheffield Shield competition and the limited-overs JLT One-Day Cup, but occasionally plays matches against touring international sides. Clinton Terrence Perren (born 22 February 1975) is a former Australian first-class cricketer who played for Queensland. He was a right-handed middle order batsman. Perren was a graduate of the Australian cricket academy in 1995 but had to wait until the 1998–99 season to make his first-class debut. He was named Pura Cup player of the Year in 2002–03 and was rewarded by being selected to play for Australia A against South Africa A. Kade Harvey
Kade Murray Harvey (born 7 October 1975) is a former Australian cricketer who played first-class cricket for Western Australia. He was an all-rounder who bowled right-arm medium and batted in the lower order. Outside of cricket he is a qualified pharmacist. Having represented Western Australia at under-17 level and under-19, Harvey was invited to join the Australian Cricket Academy. He went on to play a couple of games for the national Under-19s team in a game against an Indian youth side in early 1995. Later that year he made his debut for Western Australia, playing first-class and limited overs matches for them. He soon became earmarked as a specialist one-day player and won the "Best New Talent" award after the Mercantile Mutual Cup season of 1996–97.
