Darren Sarll
Darren Sarll (born 2 February 1983) is an English professional football manager and coach. He was most recently the manager of club Hartlepool United. Sarll began his career in football as a midfielder in non-League football and entered management with English Football League club Stevenage in 2016. Following his departure in 2018, he managed National League clubs Yeovil Town, Woking and Hartlepool United. Playing career A midfielder, Sarll began his career in the Ipswich Town youth system and later joined the youth team at Isthmian League Premier Division club Hitchin Town, from which he graduated into the first team, before departing in 2002. Hartlepool United F
Hartlepool ( ) is a seaside and port town in County Durham, England. It is governed by a unitary authority borough named after the town. The borough is part of the devolved Tees Valley area with an estimated population of 92,600. The old town was founded in the 7th century, around the monastery of Hartlepool Abbey, on a headland. As the village grew into a town, in the Middle Ages, its harbour served as the County Palatine of Durham's official port. The new town of West Hartlepool was created, in 1835, after a new port was built and railway links from the South Durham coal fields (to the west) and from Stockton-on-Tees (to the south) were created. In sports, a reserve team is a team composed of players who are under contract to a club but who do not regularly play in matches for the club's primary team. Sunday League Football
Sunday league football is a term used in Britain, Ireland and Australia to describe the amateur association football competitions which take place on Sunday rather than the more usual Saturday. The term ''pub league'' may also be used, owing to the number of public houses that enter teams. Sunday league football is stereotypically seen as being of far lower quality than Saturday football and involving players who are often unfit or hungover. Spartan South Midlands League
The Spartan South Midlands Football League is an English football league covering Hertfordshire, northwest Greater London, central Buckinghamshire and southern Bedfordshire. It is a feeder to the Southern Football League or the Isthmian League, and consists of five divisions – three for first teams (Premier Division, Division One and Division Two), and two for reserve teams (Reserve Division One and Reserve Division Two). Southern Football League
The Southern League is a football competition featuring semi-professional clubs from East Anglia, the South and Midlands of England, and South Wales. Together with the Isthmian League and the Northern Premier League it forms levels seven and eight of the English football league system. The structure of the Southern League has changed several times since its formation in 1894, and currently there are 87 clubs which are divided into four divisions.
