Darren Cross
Darren Agonistes Cross is a supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics properties. He is the archenemy of Scott Lang (the second superhero to be called Ant-Man), the father of Augustine Cross, and the cousin of Crossfire. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the character was portrayed in live-action by Corey Stoll in the 2015 film ''Ant-Man (film), Ant-Man'' as Yellowjacket (Marvel Comics), Yellowjacket (a concept later integrated into the comics with the character as the third version of Yellowjacket in the Marvel Universe), and in the 2023 film ''Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania'' as MODOK, M.O.D.O.K. Yellowjacket is an alias utilized by several fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Fictional character biography Hank Pym Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym is the first major character to take on the Yellowjacket codename as an anti-hero after having several other superhero identities, such as Ant-Man, Giant-Man and Goliath. The character has been associated with several superhero teams in the Marvel Universe, including the Avengers and the Defenders. Ant-Man is the name of several superheroes appearing in books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history Created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby, his first appearance was in '' Tales to Astonish'' #27 (January 1962) as Dr. Henry Pym; however, he first appeared in costume as Ant-Man in '' Tales to Astonish'' #35 (September 1962). The persona was originated by the brilliant scientist Hank Pym's superhero alias after inventing a substance that can change size (Pym Particles), but reformed thieves Scott Lang and Eric O'Grady also took on the Ant-Man mantle after the original changed his superhero identity to various other aliases, such as Giant-Man, Goliath, and Yellowjacket. All-New, All-Different Marvel
All-New, All-Different Marvel (ANADM) is a 2015–2019 branding for Marvel Comics' entire main line of comics. Taking place after the crossover storyline "Secret Wars", it details the new Marvel Universe, with nearly 60–65 titles relaunched with first issues, with a total of 76 issues. Marvel NOW! 2.0 and Marvel Legacy are concurrent with it. Publication history It was announced in February 2015 by Marvel that following the "Secret Wars" storyline, a new universe would be established by combining the 616 Universe and 1610 Ultimate Universe. Soon after, Marvel revealed a title called the '' All-New, All-Different Avengers'' for Free Comic Book Day, a preview of the new Marvel Universe that featured many "legacy heroes", a term used for new characters taking on the role of established heroes.
