Darrel Williams (born April 15, 1995) is an American football running back for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at LSU. He was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2018. High school career Williams was a four-star recruit coming out of John Ehret High School in Marrero, Louisiana; he amassed 2,036 yards and had 27 touchdowns in his senior year. He had offers from Arizona State, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Florida. College career In Williams's freshman season at LSU, he joined a four-player running back rotation. As a senior, he started in several games in place of an injured Derrius Guice. On October 21, 2017, against Ole Miss, he became the first player in LSU history to record at least 100 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in the same game. He signed with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2015. College career Williams attended and played college football at University of South Florida from 2011 to 2014. Professional career St. Louis / Los Angeles Rams After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL draft, Williams signed with the St. Louis Rams on May 8, 2015 as an undrafted free agent. High school Williams played at Dunbar Vocational High School in Chicago where he led his team to a district title with a 10-0 mark as a senior and guided his team to a regional semifinals loss in Class 4A. In the district finale against Bowen he scored 20 points and also had 20 rebounds and blocked 8 shots. College career Freshman year Williams played at Chipola College during his freshman season. He averaged 7.4 points and six rebounds per game at Chipola College. He led the Indians to finish third place in the NJCAA national tournament with a 34–2 mark. Darrell Christopher Williams is a New Zealand rugby league selector and NRL Judiciary member and a former footballer and coach. A New Zealand international representative outside back, he played his club football in the Auckland Rugby League for Mt Albert and in Sydney's NSWRFL Premiership for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles (with whom he won the 1987 NSWRL Grand Final) and the Parramatta Eels. He later coached the Samoan national team. Playing career New Zealand Williams started his playing career in the Auckland Rugby League competition where he played with the Mt Albert club.
