Darragh Flynn
Darragh Flynn (born 2002) is an Irish hurler who plays for Cork Intermediate Championship club Ballygiblin. He also joined the Cork senior hurling team in advance of the 2022 season. Career Flynn played hurling competitively at juvenile and underage levels with the Ballygiblin club. He later progressed onto the club's top adult team and won a County Junior A Championship title in 2021. By this stage Flynn was a member of the Cork minor hurling team during the 2019 Munster Minor Championship. He later won consecutive All-Ireland Under-20 Championship titles with the under-20 team. Flynn's performances in this grade earned a call-up to the senior team training panel in December 2021. Ballygiblin GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located outside Mitchelstown, County Cork, Ireland. The club is solely concerned with the game of hurling. They currently compete in the Cork Intermediate A Hurling Championship. The club plays in the Avondhu division of Cork GAA. In January 2023, the club won the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship. Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship
The Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Munster GAA Hurling Junior Club Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Munster GAA, Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the five champion junior clubs and one champion intermediate club in the province of Munster in Ireland. It is the most prestigious competition for junior clubs in Munster hurling. The Munster Intermediate Club Championship was introduced in 2001. In its current format, the championship begins in late October or early November and is usually played over a four-week period. The six participating club teams compete in a straight knockout competition that culminates with the Munster final for the two remaining teams. Ethan Twomey
Ethan Twomey (born 14 September 2002) is an Irish hurler. At club level he plays with St Finbarr's and at inter-county level with the Cork senior hurling team. Early life Born and raised in Cork, Twomey first played hurling to a high standard as a student at Presentation Brothers College (PBC). He was captain of the PBC hurling team that claimed the Munster U16½C HC title in 2018 after a 1-18 to 0-12 defeat of Scoil Ruáin in the final. Twomey later studied at University College Cork and was added to their Fitzgibbon Cup panel in 2023. Club career A family connection resulted in Twomey playing some juvenile hurling and Gaelic football with the Kilshannig club in Avondhu; however, his underage club career began in earnest with the St Finbarr's club in Cork. Brian O'Sullivan (hurler)
Brian O'Sullivan (born 2002) is an Irish hurler. At the club level he plays with Kanturk, while he is also a member of the Cork senior hurling team. Career O'Sullivan first played hurling and Gaelic football at juvenile and underage levels with the Kanturk club, before progressing to adult level as a dual player. He was part of the Kanturk senior hurling team that won the Cork SAHC title after a defeat of Fr. O'Neill's in the 2021 final. He was also part of the Kanturk intermediate football team that won the Cork PIFC title after a defeat of Bantry Blues in 2022. O'Sullivan has also lined out with the University of Limerick and won a Fitzgibbon Cup title in 2022. The Munster GAA Hurling Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster. The championship was contested as the Munster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. It is sponsored by Bord Gáis Energy. The 2021 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the third staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 58th staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the minor and senior grades. The championship began on 29 June 2021 and ended on 18 August 2021. The 2021 championship was the first to begin before the previous year's championship had concluded. 2020 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship
The 2020 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the second staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 57th staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the minor and senior grades. The championship was scheduled to begin in May 2020, however, it was postponed indefinitely due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Gaelic games. The championship eventually began on 19 October 2020 and, after being suspended once again, ended on 10 July 2021. The 2021 Cork Junior A Hurling Championship was the 124th staging of the Cork Junior A Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1895. The championship began on 6 November 2021 and ended on 20 November 2021.
