The Notorious B
''The'' is a grammatical article in English, denoting nouns that are already or about to be mentioned, under discussion, implied or otherwise presumed familiar to listeners, readers, or speakers. It is the definite article in English. ''The'' is the most frequently used word in the English language; studies and analyses of texts have found it to account for seven percent of all printed English-language words. It is derived from gendered articles in Old English which combined in Middle English and now has a single form used with nouns of any gender. The word can be used with both singular and plural nouns, and with a noun that starts with any letter. This is different from many other languages, which have different forms of the definite article for different genders or numbers. Pronunciation In most dialects, "the" is pronounced as (with the voiced dental fricative followed by a schwa) when followed by a consonant sound, and as (homophone of the archaic pronoun '' the ...

''Pleasure & Pain'' is the fifth studio album by American R&B group 112. It was released by Def Soul on March 29, 2005, in the United States. Named after the song "Pleasure & Pain" on 112's 1996 eponymous debut album, '' 112'', the album did not fare as well as their first three albums. It was the first 112 album to get a Parental Advisory sticker (although a few songs from earlier releases contain profanity as well). Promotion ''Pleasure & Pain'' was preceded by lead single " U Already Know". Released on November 23, 2004, the song peaked at number 32 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and number three on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, becoming the band's highst-charting single since " Peaches & Cream". Def Soul
Def Soul Records was an R&B-based division of American multinational record label Def Jam Recordings. It was formed in 1996 by Russell Simmons and Kevin Liles to expand R&B and soul music through Def Jam's said genre-related roster following the successes of Montell Jordan and Case. The label later garnered more success with other artists that include Musiq Soulchild, Kelly Price, Christina Milian, Aaron Soul, Terri Walker, Dru Hill, 112, Patti LaBelle and The Isley Brothers. In the spring of 2011, the label was consolidated into Def Jam, as the urban music industry began to change, so did the Def Jam label roster's multi-genre strategy, citing former artist Rihanna's success as the reason for the downfall of Def Soul. History Capitalizing on the successes of Montell Jordan's " This Is How We Do It" in 1995 and Case's self-titled debut album in 1996, Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons and then-vice president Kevin Liles teamed up to form Def Soul Records, to expand the ...

Hot & Wet
''Hot & Wet'' is the fourth studio album by American R&B group 112. It was released by Bad Boy Records and Def Soul on December 9, 2003 in the United States. Their first album not exclusively associated with Bad Boy, signaling the groups' eventual departure from the label in 2004, ''Hot & Wet'' followed the band's 2001 album '' Part III''. At the 2005 Soul Train Music Awards, the album was nomintated for Best R&B/Soul Album – Group, Band or Duo but lost to Destiny's Child's ''Destiny Fulfilled'' (2004). Background In 2002, the group members, having matured both personally and professionally, came to the realization that a split with the Bad Boy label was necessary due to the lack of interest. In search of greater creative control, 112 left Bad Boy Records in February 2002 and signed with Def Jam in July on their Def Soul-imprint, insisting that the breakup was amicable. They reiterated this "no-hard-feelings" attitude by going to Daddy's House to record a debut album for Def ...
