Darko Pešić
Darko Pešić (born 30 November 1992) is a Montenegrin athlete competing in the combined events. He finished sixth in the heptathlon at the 2017 European Indoor Championships. He holds multiple national records in various events. Career Pešić finished 14th in the octathlon at the 2009 World Youth Championships. He then finished 13th in the decathlon at the 2011 European Junior Championships. He moved to Novi Sad, Serbia, in 2011 to improve his training conditions. Pešić finished 14th in the decathlon at the 2013 European U23 Championships and set the national record. He then won the decathlon silver medal at the 2013 Jeux de la Francophonie behind France's Bastien Auzeil and broke his own national record. Cetinje
Cetinje ( cnr-Cyrl, Цетиње, ) is a List of cities and towns in Montenegro, town in Montenegro. It is the former royal capital ( cnr-Latn-Cyrl, prijestonica, приjестоница, separator=" / ") of Montenegro and is the location of several national institutions, including the Blue Palace, official residence of the president of Montenegro. Decathlon
The decathlon is a combined event in athletics consisting of 10 track and field events. The word "decathlon" was formed, in analogy to the word "pentathlon", from Greek δέκα (''déka'', meaning "ten") and ἄθλος (''áthlos'', or ἄθλον, ''áthlon'', meaning "contest" or "prize"). Events are held over two consecutive days and the winners are determined by the combined performance in all. Performance is judged on a points system in each event, not by the position achieved. The 2016 Balkan Athletics Championships was the 75th edition of the annual track and field competition for athletes from the Balkans, organised by Balkan Athletics. It was held at Stadionul Nicolae Dobrin in Pitești, Romania on 25 and 26 June. 2015 European Games
The 1st European Games (), also known as the 2015 European Games or Baku 2015 (), were the inaugural edition of the European Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the European Olympic Committees. It took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 12 to 28 June 2015, and featured almost 6,000 athletes from 50 countries competing in 30 sports, including 15 summer Olympic and 2 non-Olympic sports. 2014 Balkan Athletics Championships
The 2014 Balkan Athletics Championships was the 67th edition of the annual track and field competition for athletes from the Balkans, organised by Balkan Athletics. It was held at Stadionul Nicolae Dobrin in Pitești, Romania on 26 and 27 July. The host nation Romania topped the medal table with fourteen gold medals among a total haul of 32. Turkey and Bulgaria each won seven gold medals. Athletes' performances were assessed with a points ranking based on international standards in the given event. Romanian long jumper Alina Rotaru gave the best overall performance with 6.72 m for 1143 points and her countryman Marian Oprea gave the best men's performance with 16.77 m for 1130 points in the triple jump.
