Darius Gaiden
is a 1994 shoot 'em up, horizontal-scrolling shooter arcade game developed and published by Taito. The fifth entry in its ''Darius (series), Darius'' series, players control a starship named the Silver Hawk in its mission to destroy the Belsar empire before it wipes out the population of planet Darius. ''Gaiden'' adds several new features to the core concepts of its predecessors, including screen-clearing black hole bombs and the ability to capture mid-level bosses. The game has been ported to several consoles, including the Sega Saturn and PlayStation (console), PlayStation. Taito
is a Japanese company that specializes in video games, Toy, toys, arcade cabinets, and game centers, based in Shinjuku, Tokyo. ''Taito Legends 2'' a compilation of Taito arcade video games and the follow-up to ''Taito Legends''. It was published for Xbox (console), Xbox, PlayStation 2, and Microsoft Windows. As with the former collection, it is derived from the Japan exclusive ''Taito Memories'' series. All three versions of the game were simultaneously released in March 2006 in Europe and Australia and published by Empire Interactive. The United States received the PlayStation 2 version on 16 May 2007 and the Windows version on 10 July 2007 with publishing by Destineer. For unknown reasons, the Xbox version was never released in North America. Zuntata
is the "house band" of Japanese video game developer and publisher Taito. The band consists of sound director Katsuhisa Ishikawa, bassists Yu Shimoda and Shohei Tsuchiya, and drummer Masaki Mori. Zuntata is Taito's core sound department, and has become the collective name for the company's other sound production teams. Darius II (video Game)
is a 1989 arcade shooter video game developed and published by Taito. It is a direct sequel to the 1987 title, '' Darius''. It was later released as in Japan in 1991 for the Game Boy as well as non-Japanese ports. A remake was released for the PC Engine Super CD-ROM² as in 1993. Gameplay The game is set in the inner half of the Solar System, and has the same branching level structure as ''Darius''. Similar to the first '' Darius'' game, ''Darius II'' was programmed for multiple screens; while a three-screen version like the original exists, ''Darius II'' is more commonly and generally represented as a two-screen game.
