Darian Mensah (born January 25, 2005) is an American football quarterback for the Duke Blue Devils football, Duke Blue Devils. He previously played for the Tulane Green Wave football, Tulane Green Wave. Early life Mensah attended St. Joseph High School (Santa Maria, California), St. Joseph High School in Santa Maria, California. As a senior, he was the Mountain League Player of the Year after passing for 2,256 with 25 total touchdowns. He committed to Tulane University to play college football. College career Tulane After redshirting his first year at Tulane in 2023, Mensah was named the starter for the 2024 season. In his first game against the Southeastern Louisiana Lions, he completed 10 of 12 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns, in a 52-0 victory. On December 8, 2024, Mensah announced that he would enter the transfer portal. He was considered the top-rated player in the transfer portal by ESPN. The 2023 Tulane Green Wave football team represented Tulane University in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season.
