, known before as Miki Kawashima, is a Japanese musical composer, singer-songwriter, lyricist under Being Inc. records. Biography In 1986, she debuted as ''Miki Kawashima'' with the single Silk no Kuchibiru under CBS Sony label. Three years, she debuted as Daria Kawashima with the single ''Shiny Day'' under the Zain Records label. Since joining the Being agency, Kawashima has composed and wrote several songs for artists like Zard and Deen. In 1992, she composed ''Moonlight Densetsu'' under the alias of ''Tetsuya Komuro'', presumably inspired by the legendary songwriter of the same name. The song would later be used as an opening theme for the popular anime series Sailor Moon. Kawashima also became known as the vocalist and leader of the heavy metal band '' Feel So Bad''. is the 6th single by Zard released on 27 January 1993 under B-Gram Records label. Background According to the song's composer Tetsurō Oda, Izumi Sakai was singing "strangely," but it proved to be good. The single reached #1 rank, the first time a Zard single had done so. It charted for 18 weeks and it sold over 1.64 million copies and became the highest-selling song for Zard. When she died, it was elected as the best song by Zard on the Oricon polls. It was a song that greatly appealed to the Japanese public. Released at a time that is now seen as the beginning of Japan's post economic bubble era when the Nikkei 225 Index had shrunk in value by a third in only three years, "Makenaide" (Don't Give Up) became known as the theme song of the country's " Lost Decade." is the fourth album by Zard and was released on July 10, 1993 under B-Gram Records. This is the first original album released in about 10 months since the last album '' Hold Me''. It is also the first album by Izumi Sakai as a solo unit since her first album '' Good-bye My Loneliness''. The release was postponed several times, but was finally released on July 10. In addition, the order form at CD stores indicated that the album title was "Kimi ga Inai" and that it would be released simultaneously with the single "Yureru Omoi" on May 19. is the second studio album of Japanese band Zard. It was released on December 25, 1991, released under B-Gram label. In 1991, B-Gram released this album in cassette tape and CD format. In 1993, B-Gram Records re-released this album only in CD format (BGCH-1004). Background The album consists of two previously released singles. "Sunao ni Ienakute" and "Itsuka wa" are both composed by singer/frontman Izumi Sakai. In 2009, the song Sunao ni Ienakute was re-arranged and released as single; the song was re-arranged by Hitoshi Okamoto, a member of Garnet Crow. Mai Kuraki joined in on the chorus.
