Daren Tan
Daren Tan Xuan Yu (born 22 February 1983) is a Singaporean singer. He was the winner of Project Superstar Season 2. He has been listed among Cleo (magazine), CLEO magazine's 50 Most Eligible Bachelors. He changed his Chinese name to Chén Xuān Yù in 2014, and this was formally announced in Project Superstar 3 live show on national TV on 25 August 2014. Discography Tan's debut album, titled ''Regardless'', was released islandwide on January 26, 2008. One of his songs, "Dou Shen", is the theme song for the popular Mediacorp drama ''Metamorphosis (TV series), Metamorphosis''. The first song in his debut album, titled "Regardless" (Bu Xu Li You) is actually a remake of Melee (band), Melee's single "Built To Last (Mêlée's song), Built To Last". Alfred Sim Chee Hao (born 4 October 1981) is a Singaporean singer, athletics coach and occasional actor. He is best known for being the winner of the third season of reality singing competition ''Project SuperStar''. Career Musical Sim auditioned for the first and second seasons of ''Project Superstar'' in 2005 and 2006 respectively, but he did not make it as one of the finalists. In 2011, Sim became part of Sparkle Live Music, which was founded by singer Tay Kewei, her sister Tay Kexin, and keyboardist Lee Ein Ein, in which he performs songs at weddings. Sim also participated in ''Guinness Live'', a competition "to find the next William Scorpion", representing Team ''Firefly'', along with Howie Yeo, Willis Loye and Yee Si Ling, managed by Fatt Zhai. Project SuperStar Season 2 (2006–07)
The second season of the Singaporean reality talent show ''Project SuperStar'' began on 8 November 2006 on MediaCorp Channel U. The show is hosted by Quan Yi Fong and Jeff Wang. The overall winner received talent management contracts with Warner Music Singapore and MediaCorp. Billy Koh, Lee Wei Song, Roy Loi, Anthony Png and Dawn Yip returned as judges for their second season. On 4 February 2007, winner of the male category Daren Tan was announced as the overall winner of the season, with female category winner Lydia Tan as the overall runner-up. ''Project SuperStar'' () is a singing talent search competition organised by MediaCorp and broadcast on Channel U in Singapore. Project SuperStar was organised to uncover and develop young talent in Mandarin pop in Singapore. Closely modelled after the Pop Idol, 24 contestants were selected to enter the Quarter Finals of the competition. For both seasons, it was hosted by Quan Yi Fong and Jeff Wang. Episodes were pre-recorded, and broadcast on Wednesday for male contestants, while episodes on Thursday feature female contestants. Kelvin Tan Wei Lian (陈伟联, born 5 October 1981) is a Singaporean Mandopop singer who earned a living as a busker before he won the first edition of Project SuperStar in 2005. He has released three albums, '' All I Want Is...'' (2006), '' i-Weilian'' (2007) and '' Moving Notes...Kelvin Tan'' (2009).
