Darell Hernáiz
Darell Giovan Hernáiz (born August 3, 2001) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball infielder for the Athletics of Major League Baseball. He made his MLB debut in 2024. Career Baltimore Orioles Hernáiz attended Americas High School in El Paso, Texas. He was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the fifth round of the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft. He made his professional debut that year with the Gulf Coast Orioles. Hernáiz did not play for a team in 2020 due to the Minor League Baseball season being cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. He returned in 2021 to play for the Delmarva Shorebirds. He started the 2022 season with Delmarva before being promoted to the Aberdeen IronBirds. An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field, between first base and third base. Aberdeen IronBirds
The Aberdeen IronBirds are a Minor League Baseball team based in the city of Aberdeen in Harford County, Maryland. They are the High-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles and compete in the South Atlantic League. They were previously members of the New York–Penn League from 1977 to 2020, and of the High-A East in 2021. The team is owned by Attain Sports with retired Orioles player Cal Ripken Jr maintaining a minority stake in the team after having purchased the team, then known as the Utica Blue Sox, and moved them to his hometown of Aberdeen in time for the 2002 season. The Texas Rangers are an American professional baseball team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Zachary Dunn Gelof (born October 19, 1999) is an American professional baseball second baseman for the Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball for the Virginia Cavaliers. Mark Kotsay
Mark Steven Kotsay (born December 2, 1975) is an American professional baseball manager and former outfielder. He is the manager for the Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). As a player, Kotsay appeared in 1,914 MLB games for the San Diego Padres, Florida Marlins, Athletics, Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, and Milwaukee Brewers.
