Nicoleta Dara (born Nicoleta Darabană, on 22 May 1993 in Telenești), commonly known as Dara, is a Moldovan pop singer. She is well known for singing in preselection for Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest in March 2012, where she sang her single "Open Your Eyes". She released her album ''Unsorted'' in 2011. The album was not a success, unlike her two previous singles. In late 2012, her fourth official single titled "Chains" was released via YouTube. Biography Nicoleta Dara was born in 1993 in Moldova. Darashaw Nosherwan Wadia FRS (23 October 1883 – 15 June 1969) was a pioneering geologist in India and among the first Indian scientists to work in the Geological Survey of India. He is remembered for his work on the stratigraphy of the Himalayas. He helped establish geological studies and investigations in India, specifically at the Institute of Himalayan Geology, which was renamed in 1976 after him as the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology. Dara Shikoh (20 March 1615 – 30 August 1659), also transliterated as Dara Shukoh, was the eldest son and heir-apparent of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Dara was designated with the title ''Padshahzada-i-Buzurg Martaba'' () and was favoured as a successor by his father and his elder sister, Princess Jahanara Begum.
