Daoli District
Daoli District () is one of nine districts of the prefecture-level city of Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang Province, Northeast China, forming part of the city's urban core. It is located on the Songhua River. It borders the districts of Songbei to the north, Daowai to the northeast, Nangang to the east, and Shuangcheng to the south, as well as the prefecture-level city of Suihua to the northwest. Nowadays, Daoli District is also famous because of Central Street (; russian: Китайская улица), which is one of the main business streets in Harbin. Gongcheng Subdistrict
Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County () is a county within the prefecture-level city of Guilin, Guangxi, China. The county spans a total area of , and has a population of approximately 300,000 as of 2011. History The area was first incorporated under the Sui Dynasty as Chacheng County (). During the Tang Dynasty it was changed to Gongcheng County (). On February 3, 1990, Gongcheng County was changed to Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County. Geography Most of the county is mountainous in nature, sans the lower southern portion of the county, and the valley along the Cha River. Jingwei Subdistrict, Harbin
Jingwei () is a bird in Chinese mythology, who was transformed from Yandi's daughter Nüwa.Yang & An (2005), 154–155. She is also a goddess in Chinese mythology. After she drowned when playing in the Eastern Sea, she metamorphosed into a bird called Jingwei. Jingwei is determined to fill up the sea, so she continuously carries a pebble or twig in her mouth and drops it into the Eastern Sea.
