''Danzig Sings Elvis'' is the twelfth studio album by American heavy metal music, heavy metal band Danzig (band), Danzig. It was released on April 17, 2020, through Cleopatra Records. The album consists of cover versions of tracks originally recorded by Elvis Presley. "Always on My Mind" was released as the album's sole Single (music), single on July 29, 2020. The single was released on 7-inch vinyl as well as via digital and streaming formats and features an alternate vocal version of "Loving Arms" as its A-side and B-side, B-side. Critical reception ''Danzig Sings Elvis'' was met with mixed reviews from critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, this release received an average score of 60, based on five reviews. Danzig is an American heavy metal band led by former Misfits and Samhain frontman Glenn Danzig. Formed in 1987 in Lodi, New Jersey out of the latter band, its "classic" lineup included the eponymous vocalist and keyboardist (real name Glenn Anzalone), guitarist John Christ (real name John Knoll), bassist Eerie Von (real name Eric Stellmann) and drummer Chuck Biscuits (real name Charles Montgomery). Glenn Allen Anzalone (born June 23, 1955), better known by his stage name Glenn Danzig, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, actor, film director and record producer. He is the founder of the rock bands Misfits, Samhain, and Danzig. He owns the Evilive record label as well as Verotik, an adult-oriented comic book publishing company.
