Danny Wolf
Daniel Wolf (born May 5, 2004; דניאל וולף) is an American-Israeli college basketball player for the Michigan Wolverines in the Big Ten Conference. He previously played for the Yale Bulldogs, where as a sophomore in 2023-24 he was a first-team All- Ivy League selection, the 2024 Ivy League men's basketball tournament MVP, and led the Ivy League in rebounds and in blocks per game. He competed for Team Israel at the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championship, winning a silver medal, and was named to the all-tournament team. Early and personal life Wolf was born in Glencoe, Illinois, in the United States. His father is 6' 8", and his mother is 5' 10". His oldest brother Josh played basketball at Lehigh University, and his other older brother Jake plays basketball at Washington University in St. Louis. Israel Men's National Under-20 Basketball Team
The Israeli national under-20 basketball team represents the country in various FIBA youth tournaments. It usually competes in the FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship, and used to compete in the now defunct FIBA Under-21 World Championship. In team sports, a most valuable player award, abbreviated 'MVP award', is an honor typically bestowed upon an individual (or individuals, in the instance of a tie) whose individual performance is the greatest in an entire league, for a particular competition, or on a specific team. The purpose of the award is recognize the contribution of the individual's efforts amongst a group effort, and to highlight the excellence, exemplariness, and/or outstandingness of a player's performance amidst the performance of their peers in question. The term can have different connotations depending on the context in which it is used. A 'League MVP' is the most valuable player in an entire league, and refers to the player whose performance is most excellent in the league. National Association Of Basketball Coaches
The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, is an American organization of men's college basketball coaches. It was founded in 1927 by Phog Allen, head men's basketball coach at the University of Kansas. Formation of the NABC began when Joint Basketball Rules Committee, then the central governing authority of the game, announced without notice that it had adopted a change in the rules which virtually eliminated dribbling. Allen, a student of basketball founder James Naismith, organized a nationwide protest which ultimately resulted in the dribble remaining part of the game. Ernest “EJ” Drew Jarvis II (born August 7, 2000) is an American former basketball player and activist. He is best known for his time spent playing collegiate basketball for the Yale Bulldogs, during which he won three Ivy League Championships, one in each of the three seasons he played. Early life and education Jarvis was born August 7, 2000 to Ernie and Debbi Jarvis. He has a younger brother, Jacob. McDonald's All-American Game
The McDonald's All-American Game is the all-star basketball game played each year for American and Canadian boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout. The last of these competitions replaced separate overall timed skills competitions for boys and girls. It is rare for girls to compete in the slam dunk contest. They have, however, won it three times—in 2004 by Candace Parker, in 2019 by Fran Belibi, and most recently in 2022 by Ashlyn Watkins. Northfield Mount Hermon School
Northfield Mount Hermon School, often called NMH, is a co-educational preparatory school in Gill, Massachusetts, in the United States. It is a member of the Eight Schools Association. Present day NMH offers nearly 200 courses, including AP and honors classes in every discipline. Every semester, students take three major courses, each 70 minutes long, as opposed to five 50-minute classes which are more typical of high schools. ThisCollege-Model Academic Program allows students to spend more time with their teachers and immerse themselves more deeply in academic subjects.
