Danny Racchi
Daniel Craig Racchi (born 22 November 1987) is an English professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender or a midfielder. He currently plays for Grantham Town F.C., Grantham Town. Racchi started his career with Huddersfield Town A.F.C., Huddersfield Town in their youth system, signing a professional contract with the club in 2006. He made his first-team debut in 2007, and having made six appearances he was released by Huddersfield in 2008. He was signed by Bury F.C., Bury and played for them in the League Two play-offs in his first season. After being released in 2010, Racchi joined Conference Premier side Wrexham A.F.C., Wrexham on non-contract terms, but after failing to make an appearance joined divisional rivals York City F.C., York City. Stan Ternent
Francis Stanley Ternent (born 16 June 1946) is an English former footballer and manager. He managed Blackpool, Hull City, Bury, Burnley, Gillingham and Huddersfield Town. He was a scout for Hull City until January 2017. As a manager, he won three promotions between 1996 and 2000, including two in succession (from Division Three to Division One) with Bury. The other came with Burnley in 1999–2000. Playing career Born in Gateshead, Ternent signed as an apprentice for Burnley after being spotted by scout Jack Hixon. Ternent found first team opportunities limited at Burnley and was transferred to Second Division Carlisle United, where he gained a reputation as a hard tackling midfielder. Carlisle won promotion to the First Division at the end of the 1973–74 season, but Ternent had suffered a serious knee injury earlier that season. The 2007–08 season was the 128th season of competitive football in England. Club football European competitions In October 2007, Arsenal equalled the UEFA Champions League record victory with a 7–0 win over Slavia Prague at the Emirates Stadium. The record was broken the following month when Liverpool defeated Beşiktaş 8–0 at Anfield. All four English clubs competing in the Champions League reached the quarter-finals, resulting in three all-English ties during the competition's latter stages. Lucas Jordan Jeremiah Akins (born 25 February 1989) is a professional footballer who plays for club Mansfield Town. Akins has been deployed in every outfield position during his career, mostly playing as either a winger or striker. Born in England, he plays for the Grenada national team. Andy Ritchie (English Footballer)
Andrew Timothy Ritchie (born 28 November 1960) is an English former footballer and manager. Playing career Ritchie was born in Manchester. After playing for England Schoolboys (once scoring three goals against Germany), he started his career in 1977–78 with Manchester United and scored a hat-trick against Leeds United while aged just 18 and another hat-trick against Spurs when 19, but was then surprisingly sold to Brighton & Hove Albion. He was later sold to Leeds United, where he made some fine performances, notably in the 1984–85 season when he scored two hat-tricks. He also helped the club reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup in the 1986–87 season. He served the Elland Road club until 1987, when he signed for Oldham Athletic. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). John James McAliskey (born 2 September 1984) is a former professional footballer who played in the Football League for Huddersfield Town, Torquay United, Wrexham and Mansfield Town. Born in Huddersfield, England, he represented the Republic of Ireland at under-21 level. Career He first played for Huddersfield Town during the 2003–04 season.
