Danny Lloyd
Daniel Edward Sidney Lloyd (born October 13, 1972) is an American former child actor best known for his role as Danny Torrance in the horror film '' The Shining'' (1980) an adaptation of Stephen King's 1977 novel of the same name. Life and career Lloyd was born in Tremont, Illinois. His first and best-known role is that of Danny Torrance in Stanley Kubrick's '' The Shining'' (1980). He was selected for the role due to his ability to maintain his concentration for extended periods. The Shining (film)
''The Shining'' is a 1980 psychological horror film produced and directed by Stanley Kubrick and co-written with novelist Diane Johnson. The film is based on Stephen King's 1977 novel of the same name and stars Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall, Scatman Crothers, and Danny Lloyd.
