The Danish Thundersport Championship (DTC) was a Danish stock car racing series held from 2012 to 2019. It was administered by DTC Motorsport A / S (DTC A / S), and ran according to DASU regulations. Stock car racing is a form of Auto racing, automobile racing run on oval track racing, oval tracks and road courses. Danish Touringcar Championship
The Danish Touringcar Championship (abbreviated as the DTC) was a touring car racing series in Denmark. The inaugural year for the DTC was 1999, after the huge success in Scandinavia of the British Touring Car Championship. For the first two years it was known as the Danish Touring Car Challenge. 2012 Danish Thundersport Championship
The 2012 Auto-G Danish Thundersport Championship season was the first season of the Danish Thundersport Championship, it began at Jyllandsringen in May and concluded at the same venue in September. The championship succeeded the Danish Touringcar Championship, with the Super 2000 cars being replaced with the Camaro Cup/ Trans Am cars. Jan Magnussen won the championship, driving for Fukamuni Racing. Teams and drivers All teams ran the Chevrolet Camaro. Drivers with an asterisk on their "Rounds" column took part in the non-championship round held at the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix. Calendar All rounds was held in Denmark. Jan Magnussen
Jan Ellegaard Magnussen (born 4 July 1973) is a Danish professional racing driver and was a factory driver for General Motors until the end of the 2020 season. He has competed in Champ Car, Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART), NASCAR, the FIA Formula One World Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Career history Lower series racing Born in Roskilde, Denmark, Roskilde, Magnussen won the 1992 Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch, then dominated the 1994 British Formula 3 season, 1994 British Formula 3 championship with Paul Stewart Racing, winning 14 of the 18 events and breaking Ayrton Senna's F3 record. Magnussen scored his first British F3 win that April at Donington Park, also taking pole for the race. Dennis Lind
Dennis Marcel Galindo Lind (born 3 February 1993 in Roskilde) is a Danish racing driver of Colombian descent who is currently participating in GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the British GT Championship. He is the nephew and cousin of Formula One drivers Jan and Kevin Magnussen, respectively. He is both European and World Champion of Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Career Lind started his racing career by karting, driving in Italy but mainly in Scandinavia, throughout 2006 and 2007. Casper Gunvad Elgaard (born 5 April 1978 in Aarhus, Denmark) is a Danish auto racing driver. He has competed several times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 2001, as well as regular drives in the Le Mans Series. In 2008 24 Hours of Le Mans, 2008 he finished second in the LMP2 class of Le Mans for Team Essex in a Porsche RS Spyder. He also won his class at the 2008 1000 km Monza, 1000 km of Monza. In 2009 24 Hours of Le Mans Elgaard won the LMP2 class in the Team Essex Porsche Spyder.
