Danish Golf Challenge
The Made in Denmark Challenge is a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour. It was first played in May 2015 at the Royal Golf Club in Copenhagen, Denmark. It moved to Aalborg Golf Club in 2016, Royal Oak Golf Club in 2017, Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort in 2018 and Silkeborg Ry Golfklub in 2019. Max Orrin won the inaugural event at Royal Golf Club, Copenhagen, beating Andrew McArthur Andrew McArthur (born 8 May 1979) is a Scottish professional golfer. McArthur was born in Lanark. Bogense
Bogense () is a town in central Denmark, located on Funen in Nordfyn municipality, Region of Southern Denmark. The town has a population of 4,019 (1 January 2025). With its half-timbered houses, narrow streets and large marina, it is a popular tourist spot in the summer. The town is connected to Odense and Middelfart via buses operated by Fynbus. John Parry (golfer)
John Anthony Parry (born 17 November 1986) is an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour, where he has won twice. Early life and career Parry was born in Harrogate. He won several high-profile amateur tournaments including the Danish and Spanish Amateur Championships, and represented Great Britain and Ireland in the Walker Cup before turning professional at the end of 2007. Parry won the 2009 Allianz Golf Open Grand Toulouse on the Challenge Tour. He ended that season in 14th place on the Challenge Tour Rankings to earn his card on the top level European Tour for 2010. During his rookie season he won the Vivendi Cup to secure a one-year exemption on the tour. Parry was unable to follow up his win and in 2021, he was playing on the third-tier PGA EuroPro Tour. Jesper Theodor Kennegård (born 11 July 1988) is a Sweden, Swedish professional golfer and Challenge Tour player. He won the Junior Golf World Cup in 2007 and the Nordic Golf League Order of Merit in 2013. Early life and amateur career Kennegård was born in 1988 and started playing golf at six. 2021 Challenge Tour
The 2021 Challenge Tour was the 33rd season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour. Changes for 2021 Similarly to 2020, the season was due to begin in February with three tournaments in South Africa co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour, but in mid-January the South African swing was postponed to April/May because of COVID-19 pandemic concerns. The official schedule announcement was made on 27 January 2021. In April two back-to-back events in Sweden in May were added. In-season changes In August, it was announced that the Hainan Open and the Foshan Open; both played in China, were cancelled. Karl Simon Forsström (born 1 April 1989) is a Swedish professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour, where he has won once. Amateur career Forsström played for AIK Golf Club.
