Danish 1st Division 1983
The 1983 Danish 1st Division season was the 38th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. It constituted the 70th edition of the Danish football championship, and saw Lyngby Boldklub win their first championship title. The Danish champions qualified for the European Cup 1984-85 qualification, while the second and third placed teams qualified for the qualification round of the UEFA Cup 1984-85. The three lowest placed teams of the tournament were directly relegated to the Danish 2nd Division for the following season. Likewise, the Danish 2nd Division champions and two first runners-up were promoted to the 1st Division. Odense Boldklub (; also known as Odense BK or the more commonly used OB) is a Danish professional football club based in the city of Odense, in southern Denmark. Lyngby BK
Lyngby Boldklub () is a professional football club based in Lyngby, Denmark, founded in 1921. It is based at Lyngby Stadion. The club play in the Danish Superliga. From 1994 to 2001 the club was known as Lyngby FC. The club has won the Danish championship twice (1983 and 1992) and the Danish Cup three times (1984, 1985 and 1990). Boldklubben Frem (also known as Frem, BK Frem or BK Frem Copenhagen) is a Danish sports club based in the Valby- Sydhavnen area of Copenhagen. It is best known for its semi-professional football team and its youth academy. Since its foundation in 1886, Frem has won the Danish Championships six times and the Danish Cup twice. Until the disastrous bankruptcy in 1993, Frem had played in the top division all but six seasons. Aarhus Gymnastikforening (; commonly known as AGF ) is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Kolding Idræts Forening is an association football club based in Kolding, Denmark. The team competes in the Danish 1st Division, the second tier of the Danish football league system, after getting promotion at the end of the 2022–23 season. Founded in 1895, Kolding IF played in the top-flight 1982 and 1983 Danish 1st Division championships. Boldklubben af 1893, commonly referred to as B.93, is a football club based in Østerbro, Copenhagen, Denmark. The team competes in the Danish 1st Division, the second level of the Danish football league system, after achieving promotion in the 2022–23 season. Brønshøj, part of the municipality of Copenhagen, forms, together with Husum, the administrative city district (''bydel'') of Brønshøj-Husum, in Denmark. History The first mention of the village Brønshøj (Brunshoga), is in a letter dated October 21, 1186 from Pope Urban III to Archbishop Absalon. Brønshøj Church dates from approximately the same time.
