Danilo Wyss (born 26 August 1985) is a Switzerland, Swiss former road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2008 and 2020 for the and . He is no relation to fellow Swiss cyclist Daniel Wyss who won the Race Across America in 2006 and 2009. Career He competed in twelve Grand Tour (cycling), Grand Tours during his career, finishing each one, including the Giro d'Italia for five successive years between 2010 and 2014. He won the Swiss National Road Race Championships in 2015. He was named in the start list for the 2015 Tour de France. 2011 Tour De Romandie
The 2011 Tour de Romandie was the 65th running of the Tour de Romandie cycling stage race. It started on 26 April in Martigny and ended on 1 May in Geneva and consisted of six stages, including a race-commencing prologue stage and also a penultimate day individual time trial. It was the 13th race of the 2011 UCI World Tour season. The race was won by rider Cadel Evans, who claimed the leader's yellow jersey for the second time – having previously won the race in 2006 Tour de Romandie, 2006 – with an eighth-place finish on the penultimate time trial stage, and held his advantage to the end of the race. Grand Prix Impanis-Van Petegem
The GP Impanis-Van Petegem (also known as the Super 8 Classic) is a single-day road bicycle race held annually since 1982 in the region of Flemish Brabant, Belgium. The race was originally organized as a tribute to Raymond Impanis in and around Kampenhout and known as the GP Impanis. Between 1995 and 2004, the race was no longer organized, only to be reinstated in 2005 as a race only for juniors (under 21). In 2011, the race was again organised for professional cyclists and upgraded to a 1.2 event on the UCI Europe Tour. It was also renamed to GP Impanis-Van Petegem in honor of Peter Van Petegem. Since then, the race has started near Brakel, the birthplace of Van Petegem, and has finished close to Kampenhout, namely in Haacht. Team Time Trial
A team time trial (TTT) is a road bicycle race in which teams of cyclists race against the clock (see individual time trial for a more detailed description of ITT events). The winning team in a TTT is determined by the comparing the times of (usually) the fourth-finishing rider in each team (though the relevant finish position can be otherwise specified in advance by the race organisers). This means that each team will try to get their first four (at least) riders across the finish line in a tight group: it is actually a disadvantage for any rider to finish far in advance of the fourth rider, as by staying back a faster rider can help the fourth rider to get a quicker time. Nokere Koerse is a European semi classic single day cycle race held in the Belgian region of Flanders. The Nokere Koerse was created in 1944, initially as the ''Grand Prix Jules Lowie'' in honour of 1938 Paris–Nice winner Jules Lowie who was born in Nokere. Grand Prix Herning is a one-day road bicycle race held in Midtjylland, Denmark. The race is organised by Herning Bicycle Club with both start and goal in Herning. The race is characterised by its gravel paths, which result in multiple punctures for the racers. The many paths and defects makes the race very selective, and it is often won by a solo rider or from a small group. Grand Prix Herning gained prominence with Bjarne Riis's victories in 1996 (the same year that he won Tour de France), 1997 and 1998. For several years the race was run as part of the UCI's calendar, with a fixed spot for the coming spring.
