Daniel R. Sheen
Daniel Robinson Sheen (November 29, 1852 – April 23, 1926) was an American politician and lawyer. Sheen was born in Peoria County, Illinois. He went to the public and business schools. Sheen read law and was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1874. Sheen lived in Peoria, Illinois and practiced law in Peoria. Sheen served in the Illinois House of Representatives in 1905 and 1906 and was elected on the Prohibition Party ticket. Peoria County is located in the U.S. state of Illinois. The 2020 United States Census listed its population at 181,830. Its county seat is Peoria. Peoria ( ) is the county seat of Peoria County, Illinois, United States, and the largest city on the Illinois River. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 113,150. It is the principal city of the Peoria Metropolitan Area in Central Illinois, consisting of the counties of Fulton, Marshall, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell, and Woodford, which had a population of 402,391 in 2020.
