Daniel Rolim Oliveira (born 12 July 1985) is a Brazilian rally driver. Career On entering the Intercontinental Rally Challenge in the 2010 season Oliveira was known only locally. He participated in ten rallies during the season, achieving two points at the Rally Internacional de Curitiba. In 2011, he moved up to the World Rally Championship driving a MINI Countryman WRC for the new rally team Brazil World Rally Team. 2012 Rally De Portugal
The 2012 Rally de Portugal was the fourth round of the 2012 World Rally Championship season and was based in Faro, Portugal. It started with a street stage in Lisbon on 29 March and concluded on 1 April after twenty-two special stages, totalling 434 competitive kilometres. 2009 Cyprus Rally
The 2009 Cyprus Rally, officially ''37th FxPro Cyprus Rally'', was the third round of the 2009 World Rally Championship season and was held between March 13 and March 15, 2009 in Limassol, Cyprus. Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena claimed the title and won the WRC's first mixed-surface round since 1996. The Cyprus Rally was last held in 2006, but was dropped along with Rally Australia in favour of new rallies such as Rally Norway, and Rally Ireland, and the returning Rally de Portugal. Its format changed to a mixed surface rally format from all-gravel rally. The Cyprus Rally was the first rally since Rallye Sanremo - Rallye d'Italia in 1996 to host a mixed surfaced event. 2011 Rally De Portugal
The 2011 Rally de Portugal was the third round of the 2011 World Rally Championship season. It was the season's first European event held on gravel roads. The rally took place over 24–27 March, beginning with a super special stage in the city of Lisbon. The rally was also the second round of the Production World Rally Championship and the inaugural event of the WRC Academy. Sébastien Ogier won the event for the second consecutive year, to take his third WRC victory. Ogier had taken the lead midway through the second leg of the rally and held on to his lead to win by 31.8 seconds from teammate Sébastien Loeb, with Ford's Jari-Matti Latvala rounding out the podium in third place. 2011 Rally Sweden
The 2011 Rally Sweden was the opening round of 2011 World Rally Championship season. It was the season's first and only event held on snow- and ice-covered gravel roads. The rally took place over 10–13 February, beginning with a Super Special Stage in the event's base town of Karlstad. The rally was also the first round of the Production World Rally Championship. The rally saw a beginning to a new era in the World Rally Championship, with the previous generation of WRC machinery such as the Citroën C4 and the Ford Focus being phased out in favour of cars with a displacement of . Mini John Cooper Works S2000
The Mini John Cooper Works WRC is a World Rally Car debuted by the Mini WRC Team during the 2011 World Rally Championship season. It is the first rally car to bear the Mini label in top-level rallying since the 1960s. The car was entered in a limited campaign for 2011, with a view to a complete championship from 2012 and was run by Prodrive, who previously had success with the Subaru Impreza WRC. The WRC is based on the Mini Countryman and features a direct-injection 1.6 L turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine. The WRC's engine was developed by BMW Motorsport for use in a variety of motorsport series, including the FIA World Touring Car Championship. The 2011 World Rally Championship was the 39th season of the FIA World Rally Championship in automobile racing. The season consisted of 13 rallies, beginning with Rally Sweden on 10 February and ended with Wales Rally GB on 13 November. The 2009 Rally GB was the 12th and last round of the 2009 World Rally Championship season and the 65th running of the Rally of Great Britain. The rally consisted of 16 special stages. The 2009 Repco Rally Australia was the 20th Rally Australia and the tenth round of the 2009 World Rally Championship season. The rally consisted of 35 special stages and was won on the road by Citroën Total World Rally Team, Citroën's Sébastien Loeb.
