Daniel Minahan (born 1962) is an American television director and Filmmaking, filmmaker. Career Minahan has directed several episodes of the HBO original series ''Six Feet Under (TV series), Six Feet Under'', ''Deadwood (TV series), Deadwood'', ''True Blood'', ''The Newsroom (American TV series), The Newsroom'' and ''Game of Thrones''; he has also directed episodes of the Peabody Award-winning miniseries ''Fellow Travelers (miniseries), Fellow Travelers'' and ''The L Word'' and on Showtime (TV network), Showtime and ''Grey's Anatomy'' on American Broadcasting Company, ABC.
