Daniel Ho
Daniel Ho (born March 5, 1968) is an American musician, composer and producer specializing in innovative approaches to slack-key guitar, ukulele, and Music of Hawaii, Hawaiian music. He has recorded 18 solo albums, some of which have won or were nominated for Grammy Awards, and has produced over 50 albums. Biography Of Chinese immigration to Hawaii, Chinese heritage, Ho was born in Kaimuki, Hawaii, Kaimuki on Oahu, and currently lives in Los Angeles. He attended the Dick Grove, Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, where he studied composition (music), composition before returning home to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa. After graduation, Daniel returned to Los Angeles, auditioned for and became a permanent member of smooth jazz group named Kilauea. The Grammy Award for Best Hawaiian Music Album was an honor presented to recording artists from 2005 to 2011 for quality Music of Hawaii, Hawaiian music albums. Kaimuki, Hawaii
Kaimukī is a residential neighborhood in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. History In the 19th century the area was a farm of Kalākaua, King Kalākaua, where ostriches roamed wild over the mountain side. It later became the site of a carnation farm for funeral flowers. Now a mix of residential area with a small business district (mainly restaurants and service industries), it is located in the urbanized Honolulu region near Kāhala, Hawaii, Kahala and Diamond Head, Hawaii, Diamond Head. Honolulu Symphony
The Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra, formerly known as Honolulu Symphony Orchestra, was founded in 1900. It is the second oldest orchestra in the United States west of the Rocky Mountains. The orchestra now plays mainly at the Hawaii Theatre Center and occasionally the Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu. Dane Lam is the current Music Director, having assumed the post in July 2023. The orchestra was originally housed in a clubhouse on the slopes of Punchbowl.
