Daniel Henriksson
Daniel Henriksson (born September 4, 1978) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender. During his career he played for LuleÃ¥ HF, Färjestads BK, and Linköpings HC in Elitserien, for Sibir Novosibirsk in the Russian Super League and for EC Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian Hockey League. He won the Swedish Championship with Färjestad in 2006. He represented Sweden at three Ice Hockey World Championships, winning a gold medal in 2006 and a silver medal in 2004 2004 was designated as an International Year of Rice by the United Nations, and the International Year to Commemorate the Struggle Against Slavery and Its Abolition (by UNESCO). Luleå HF
Luleå Hockeyförening, also known as Luleå Hockey, is a professional ice hockey club from Luleå, Sweden. The club has been playing in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), the top tier of ice hockey in Sweden, since the 1984–85 season. They are the northernmost team in the league and have won the Swedish championships twice, in 1996 and 2025. Since being promoted to the top flight (then called Elitserien) in 1984, the team has not once had to participate in a promotion/relegation-qualifier to defend their spot in the top league. The Russian Superleague (, ''Russian Championship Superleague''), commonly abbreviated as RSL, was the highest division of the main professional ice hockey league in Russia. It was considered the second-best league in the world, after the National Hockey League (NHL) of North America. The Ice Hockey World Championships are an annual international men's ice hockey tournament organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), first officially held at the 1920 Summer Olympics.
